Electric showers are one of the most common showers as they only heat the water you use and only require a cold feed and electric. An electric shower works by heating up the water which passed through it. If you have fast flowing cold water you will need a higher wattage electrical shower to heat the water up quicker and if you have a slower water flow you will need a lower wattage shower as it won't need to heat the water up as fast. This is a common misconception as a higher wattage doesn't mean a more powerful shower.
