We are currently still taking orders online and ensuring we follow the guidelines from Public Health England and the government.
Please be assured that protecting all of those that come into contact with our business is absolutely paramount, this includes our team, customers, suppliers and supporting service providers.
Our office team is working from home, however, you can continue to make contact with them through the usual channels.
Our warehouse team is working on a reduced staffing level to help ensure the required social distance minimum of 2 meters. We have also implemented increased safety measures such as providing hand sanitizer, masks for staff to wear, increased levels and frequency of cleaning and safe working procedures.
Our delivery couriers are following a ‘Contact Free Delivery Service’ to help ensure the safety of our customers and their delivery personnel, see more below.
At the moment we have good stock levels of the majority of our products and our supply chain is still strong, however, there may be occasions where there is a delay and the dispatch time will be longer than shown on your order confirmation. Should this be the case we will contact you to let you know what options are available to you. Please accept our sincerest apologies in advance should this happen, it is a very difficult and unprecedented period for us all.
We've improved our contact free delivery process to include photo capture for proof of delivery. Your customers will not be asked to sign our handheld units and our drivers will take a photo of the parcel at the point of delivery.
We also recognise that some people may be self-isolating and unwilling or unable to open their door to receive parcels, so there's a range of delivery options for everyone including setting their delivery preferences on the DPD app or leaving a note on the front door telling us where to leave the parcel.
We implemented a new Swap It process which eliminates contact and ensures social distancing.
With the new process, our drivers will only touch the Swap It packaging and your customers will only need to touch the items they are swapping and receiving.
From Tuesday 24 March we also suspended our DPD Pickup service to comply with the Government's advice to close non-essential shops.
This means your customers won't be able to drop off their parcels at a shop, divert their parcels to a shop in-flight or collect their parcels from their local shop.

Currently, Covid19 has not impacted our service offering. Operations continue as normal domestically but with additional measures implemented to help continue this service, protect staff and customers and ensure that essential supply chains across the country remain operational. International services will be affected due to many countries closing their borders, but we will keep you updated with these developments
