About Harris

Harris decorating products have long been associated with quality, performance and innovation and products range from Abrasives, Decorating Tools, Paint Brushes and Paint Rollers and more.

At just 23 years old, Leslie G Harris founded The Midland Trading Company in 1928 and, with a 13-strong team of staff, began manufacturing paint brushes from his small premises in Birmingham. By 1974 Harris continued to grow and by now was fit to burst! So a new 100,000sq ft warehouse and despatch department was built to accommodate our growing team of staff and expanding range of products.

In 2020, they had an exciting refreshing relaunch for the Harris brand.  Focusing on the needs of the end user, understanding their decorating journey and being there every step of the way.​
