Bathrooms And Showers Direct Terms and Conditions

Definitions

Us, We, Our, and The Company refers to Bathrooms and Showers Direct.

You, Your, The Buyer, and The Customer refers to the person or parties wishing to purchase goods from Bathrooms and Showers Direct. Bespoke refers to specially manufactured items requested by the Customer. All quotations, orders and contracts are subject to the following terms and conditions. No additions, exclusions or variations to these conditions by the Buyer shall be accepted unless confirmed by us in writing in advance.

Ordering And Payment

Payment can be made using most major debit or credit cards. If you prefer to pay by cheque or BACS transfer then call us on 0845 170 6000. If paying by cheque goods will only be released for delivery once the funds have been cleared. This will be approximately 7 days from receipt of cheque.

All prices shown include VAT at 20.00%. We are entitled to make adjustments to the price to take account of any increase in our supplier's prices, the imposition of any taxes or duties, or if due to an error the price published for the goods. All orders have a standard delivery charge of £7.99 with the exception of fragile goods which will be charged at £39.99, additional charges apply for Ireland, Scotland and Channel Islands.

Product Information

All products supplied are of a technical nature and it is not practical to publish detailed specifications of all products. Any specifications given to the Customer are approximate and intended as a guide only. The Company does not accept responsibility for any problems borne out of use of the specifications provided.

Shipping Information

There is a standard delivery charge of £7.99 for orders shipped to UK mainland except for items which are of a fragile/breakable nature and or those marked with special delivery instructions. Fragile/breakable items are subject to a delivery charge of £39.99 for mainland UK deliveries, and £79.99 for offshore UK destinations. Charges and delivery times outside of the UK are to be agreed in advance of ordering.

 

Orders are dispatched every working day and will normally reach you within 3 or 4 working days of ordering. If an item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. Delivery dates are approximate and no liability whatsoever is accepted in respect of late deliveries, please do not arrange to install the items until after they have been delivered and checked for damage.

 

Please ensure that you give us the correct delivery address at the time of ordering your goods, as changing delivery address can cause major logistical problems, time delays, and sometimes even having to recall goods from our carriers back to our warehouse, re packaging and sending out again in different packaging, changing delivery addresses could in some circumstances be chargeable to cover administration costs.

All items must be checked at time of delivery to ensure that they are not faulty. If they appear faulty then we must be informed within 7 working days of receiving the goods by calling on 0845 170 6000 or by email at sales@bathroomsandshowersdirect.co.uk

 

All products must be inspected and signed for by the customer or agent on delivery. Please do not install your product if it's damaged or incomplete, as once it's installed you have agreed to it being in good condition.

Warranty & Liability

All descriptions and illustrations contained in websites, brochures, price lists, and advertisements issued or communicated by the Company to the buyer are for indicative purposes only and do not form part of the contract. Goods are warranted to be of normal domestic quality and all specifications are subject to variations and normal manufacturing tolerances. Sales by the Company are not sales by sample and where the Company has provided a sample to the buyer this shall not imply any warranty or obligation of conformity with the sample. Coloured products are subject to colour variation. Save as warranted above all other warrantees as to quality, description, or fitness for a particular purpose whether expressed or implied are excluded except those warrantees implied by statute in the case of customer sales.

 

The Company warrants goods and materials to the extent of the warranty of the original manufacturer only and to be free under normal and correct use and service from defects in workmanship. The Company's entire liability under these warranties (which does not extend to consequential loss howsoever arising) is to replace free of charge any parts of goods which during the period of one calendar year from the date of supply of the goods, which after the Company's inspection, are to have been defective in workmanship. This warranty excludes fair wear and tear, damage from inappropriate use, and exposure to noxious or abrasive substances. The warranty shall apply only to the Company's original customer. All warranty claims shall be promptly notified in detail and writing to the Company's head office within the warranty period and in default the warranty shall be deemed to have been waived. None of the above affects your statutory rights.

Privacy Policy

We are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998). We will not reveal any information about your or your purchases to a third party except as necessary to deliver your order. Our staff have no access to your card details. Any personal data will not be transferred out of the EEA.

Customer Feedback

We would encourage our customers to communicate with us at any time where it is felt that our customer service has not been satisfactory, so that we are able to improve our service to you. Any correspondence entered into with our customers is generally made within 24 hours, but in all events would be no longer than 5 working days. We will endeavour to offer satisfactory explanations to resolve your dispute and to agree an acceptable period of time within which we are able to keep you informed of the progress of your query or dispute. In the event of a dispute, please contact us either in writing at the address given in the Contact Us section, or by email to sales@bathroomandshowersdirect.co.uk including the details below:

 

1. Name, Address, Order Number (if possible), Items purchased.

2. The nature of your problem or dispute.
